Our Story
Peraspori began centuries ago when our first olive tree was split down the middle in a marriage dowry. The entwined tree symbolized the joining of two families.
Our olive oil has a truly amazing flavor, so we knew we had to offer a piece of our family to the world. We’re honored to share our olives and oil with you and your family.

what does Peraspori mean?
Peraspori translates directly to “pera” meaning beyond, and “spori” meaning seed. Peraspori is so much more than just the olives and flavors behind our product. It’s also about centuries of family history and care.

our process
Tarps are layered around our olive trees.
Olives are pressed within hours. Olives are weighed. Cleaned. Crushed. De-pitted.
Olives are shaken from the branches to the tarps and gathered up.
Oil is separated from other juices and stored in containers.
Containers are shipped to Virginia, bottled in Richmond and enjoyed by you.
